Mali Sante project aims at having medical information more available and accessible. The project started initially with a medical information website. The site (www.malisante.net) has now several sections including (1) a directory of medical structures of Mali and medical specialists; (2) a job research option for health professionals; (3) Nutrition information; (4) expert opinions; (5) Traditional Medicine information; and (6) Scientific Publications. Given the penetration rate of mobile telephony in Mali, these information are now available through the mobile phone.
