Telepsychiatry in Prisons was an investigation project led by Telesalud at the University of Caldas, that developed a cost-effective model to provide digital psychiatry services in prisons. Telepsychiatry employs ICTs to digitally provide mental health services and has demonstrated to be relevant not only for rural communities, but also for populations with special needs such as inmates in detention centers.
