This initiative seeks to defend the access to reading and literature for deaf children in Argentina through sign language. The website was set up so that children can have a book told in sign language by a person with hearing disabilities. The books are narrated both in sign language and in voice off so they can be shared by those with and without hearing impairment. The project departs from the premise that through books and storytelling, children can improve their communication skills, play, imagine, learn values, explore culture and build their own identity. The project seeks to ensure these benefits reached children with hearing disabilities.
