Evaluation, Capacity building
The event was hosted and organised by AFRINIC, the Regional Internet Registry for Africa. On an average, AFRINIC-21 was attended by 227 participants. The majority of the attendees were from the Telecommunications sector. Over 170 participants attended (4) days of technical training that included RPKI, DNSSEC, IPv6 Internet Number Resource Management, IXP, Anycast and Cybersecurity.
The AFRINIC-21 plenary sessions discussed Internet Governance, Cybersecurity and Internet Technical and policy issues. AFRICACERT held its Cybersecurity Day on 26 November 2014, a session well attended by participants, including regulators.
