FRIDA’s Evaluation Approach

LACNIC conducted a separate evaluation process for the FRIDA program as well as for FRIDA funding recipients. LACNIC staff built the framework using three main areas:

• Project’s continuity and sustainability over time
• Contribution to knowledge dissemination
• Identification/alignment of the projects with FRIDA

These concepts were documented in a semi-structured survey, which has been sent to the Grants funding recipients for the past 10 years. The results of this evaluation process were summarized and presented in the book “FRIDA: 10 Years Contributing to the Development of Latin America and the Caribbean“.
