This project expands on prior initiative by FAPEU, FRIDA Award Recipient in 2008 for a project on the use of mobile devices in education programs. In this new phase, the original initiative was expanded and applied to a project with public schools which, using open source solutions, open hardward and open contents, tests innovative ways to employ mobile devices in elementary education in Brasil.
